Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything you do with MyCloudAlly, including your Box, the AI assistant, and any sites you host. Your assistant has broad access to your own Box, so you are responsible for the actions you direct it to take.
You may not use the Service to
- Break the law or facilitate illegal activity.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or unlawful marketing. (Outbound mail ports are blocked by default.)
- Host, distribute, or run malware, ransomware, phishing, or fraudulent content.
- Infringe intellectual property or distribute pirated material.
- Mine cryptocurrency, run botnets, or operate other abusive or deceptive workloads.
- Scan, attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any network, system, or account.
- Host child sexual abuse material, content that promotes violence or terrorism, or other clearly illegal content.
- Unlawfully collect, store, or process other people's personal data.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing service from the MyCloudAlly platform (see Terms §5).
- Consume resources in a way that degrades the Service or other customers (fair-use applies).
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate the Service, remove content, or block traffic — with or without notice — to protect the Service, our customers, or third parties. Serious or repeated violations result in termination without refund.
